Count Every Humpback

Every humpback has a fluke as unique as a fingerprint. Volunteers photograph them from boats, kayaks and the shoreline, and the photos build a catalog that shows which whales return to Lynn Canal each summer, and how they are doing.

This campaign is counted in people, not dollars: we want a big, broad community behind the work. Any gift makes you part of the count.
